Sure, triggered off an elevated PSA test many men are diagnosed with prostate cancer after they've retired. So going to work after a prostate cancer radiation treatment session isn't much of an issue for them. But if you're younger it may well be. And you won't really know how you're going to feel until after you start prostate cancer treatments. Obviously it's best to let your employer know what's going on. Probably starting in HR. Honesty is the best policy since it's likely you won't be able to hide the side affects anyway. Being up front will keep you from having to get into what's going on later - should something come up that keeps you away from work for an extended period. |
